Got a certificate and a medal from academic awards!!! But there are just so many mixed feelings about this…. I’m joyous and miserable. I’m glad that I have an award (it looks pretty on my college application!) but dreading the fact that I DO have one….

This early morning wasn’t so good but it got better when I got to school and my friends said happy birthday and gave me hugs and presents and whatnot. This morning felt like my family didn’t even know that it was my birthday… again. But not matter. My parents are getting old.
